The Kaluga sturgeon (Huso dauricus) is considered to be one of the the world’s largest freshwater sturgeon.  It is a predatory fish native to the Amur River basin.   The Kaluga sturgeons are capable of growing to sizes of over 18 feet and weight of at least 2,205 lbs. 

 Its weight can reach over 1000Kg with length over 8 meters.It requires a 12-15 years for maturation.

Its eggs are huge as 3.2 mm or above, color ranges from grey to amber.
